The Pentecost Prayer Team | Day 48 of 50 | Day 8 in Acts 29 | Acts chapter 12:

Casualties…those hurt by their experiences in the church and in many places of the world those hurt because they are part of the church. We are flawed creatures, tainted by sin. Sometimes the injuries happen due to sin; but, sometimes the circumstances create conflict. Even when good people are involved with good mission or ministry there can be hurt feelings. Schedules, resource allocation, priorities can cause people to feel unappreciated or hurt. It may be a matter of burnout. We are a forgiven people called to forgive. We have a ministry of reconciliation. At the foot of the cross of Jesus, we share a meal of peace as we share the body and blood.

Lift up those around the world who are suffering persecution as followers of Jesus. Especially, let us pray for Israel, the Palestinians, and the whole Middle East. Pray for strength and peace for them and their families. As the church is persecuted, the seeds of faith spread.

Holy Spirit water your crop. Pray for workers of the harvest.
