The Pentecost Prayer Team | Day 50 of 50 | Day 10 in Acts 29 | Acts chapter 28:

Things are not always what they seem. When Paul first landed on Malta, he was bitten by the viper. So, the people thought he must be a murderer. Paul didn’t die; so, they thought he must be a god. Of course, neither was true. In Rome, Paul shared Jesus and the kingdom of God. Some were convinced but others would not believe. Paul was held in captivity; yet he was free.

Today, we finish our 50 days of The Pentecost Prayer Team. I thank you for your participation. We have written only a few sentences of Acts 29 for Emmaus Church. We are surrounded by thousands of people that are completely oblivious to the reality that every breath they take is the gift of God. They think they know what is happening in life but their spirits have been anesthetized by sin and apathy. Even Christians are living a shell of their faith. Let us keep writing the next chapter for the church we call Emmaus; a place to come and find Jesus.

1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV84) Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

My brothers and sisters, the Lord Jesus loves you and I love you. I praise God for you. Blessings in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen and amen!
