PRAYER & SCRIPTURE

Published March 11, 2019 by

In Week 2 of the Workbook (pg. 31) & Companion Reader (pg. 27 – Chapter 2). I highlighted this sentence: “In the Methodist (Wesleyan) Tradition, the heart of the matter is always a matter of the heart.”

You won’t always have your books with you in the months ahead, but with your smartphone you will always have access to these “prayer helps” on our church website:http://emmausumc-nj.org/prayer-patterns/

Another powerful resource is our Believer’s Warfare Prayer: http://emmausumc-nj.org/believers-warfare-prayer/

So I am a little behind but thouroghly enjoying the teaching. I believe in sanctification and that the work Christ Jesus has started in us he will finish. I am grateful for Gods Grace. I am grateful that Love is a verb because I am compelled to Act as a Disciple not willing to watch anyone soul perish which is the heart of God!!!

Is there a place a blog we can interact with one another??? Ethel

Ethel, the idea is that people are supposed to be interacting through this comment section. Shirley is working on a more intuitive forum, but it is not ready yet. It takes a while for people to catch on to posting in this forum. Please continue.
